Commission software is priced by the number of people you pay commission to. Add a salesperson and the software bill moves — which is a defensible meter, and one worth seeing in five-year terms before you agree to it.

What the vendors publish

QuotaPath — read 2026-09-03 and again 2026-10-12. Growth **$525/month platform fee including the first 5 users, plus $35 per additional user** per month, billed annually; Premium $800/month platform fee plus $50 a user. Two meters, one of them fixed and large.

Core Commissions — read 2026-10-08 and again 2026-10-12. Reporter *"starts at: $10 per payee/per month"*, billed annually with a 15-payee minimum, sells reporting with rules added on; Launch $20 per payee/month with 5 rules included and additional rules at $0.50 each; Enterprise $35 per payee/month with unlimited rules; Managed Services priced on top again. **It meters the commission rules as well as the people.**

Visdum — read 2026-09-03 and again 2026-10-12: **no public price.** The pricing page publishes what it will not charge — "Platform fee $0", *"Usage / API charges $0", "Overage penalties $0"* — and, on 2026-10-12, a per-payee subscription billed annually plus a one-time setup fee, with "Typical first-year investment starts in the low five figures". The absence of secondary meters is the pitch; the primary price is not on the page.

The arithmetic, labeled as arithmetic

Published entry figure × 60 months. QuotaPath is shown at its platform fee with the included five users; Core Commissions at fifteen payees, its own minimum.

Commissa—$69, once

The Core Commissions row is per payee, so its five-year figure moves with your headcount — the total shown is the one this store's comparison record holds; a larger team pays more, and below fifteen payees the minimum still applies. Add a sixth salesperson to QuotaPath and it is $560 a month. Neither is a criticism; it is simply what a per-head meter means over five years.

What Commissa is

Penny-exact commission statements — flat, tiered or per-category — computed in integer cents so a statement always sums to itself. It is deliberately narrow: it computes and it states.

Who should stay where they are

Stay with Visdum if you want commissions run as a managed service with integrations and dispute handling. Stay with Core Commissions if you need automated processing wired into your CRM or ERP, a dispute-management module, or somebody else administering the plan.

Commissa administers nothing and has no live CRM connection: deal exports come in as files. It turns rules and sales into statements you can defend line by line, on your own server, and stops there.
