No — it computes what each rep is owed and produces the statement. It moves no money; payouts settle through your own payroll. Zero payment/PCI surface.

How exact is the tiered math?

Exact to the cent, by construction: integer cents, integer basis points, deals split across straddled bands, and statements that reconcile line-by-line to the period total — proven by the shipped test suite and a MySQL proof — run the suite yourself with php tests/run.php.

Can commission plans change mid-year?

Yes — rules are effective-dated, so a new rule starts on its date and earlier periods keep the rule that applied then; a closed period keeps its statements as paid. A rep-specific rule can override the global plan.

Do pending deals earn commission?

No — only deals marked won are counted, so pipeline and payout never blur.
