An asset register gets more useful as it gets more complete. On two of the three vendors below, it also gets more expensive — the meter is the number of assets you are tracking.
What the vendors publish
EZOfficeInventory — read 2026-10-08 and again 2026-10-12. Essential $81.41/month billed yearly, Advanced $117.11, Premium $142.10 — **priced by the number of items tracked, 500 by default*, with "we can tailor your quote"* above them. Growing the register is what raises the bill.
AssetTiger — read 2026-10-11 and again 2026-10-12. A 30-day trial up to 250 assets with no permanent free tier, then $20 to $275/month by asset count, or one month free on yearly billing — $220 a year for the 500-asset Basic plan — with unlimited users on every paid tier. Priced by assets rather than people.
Asset Panda — read 2026-09-03 and again 2026-10-12: no public price, quote-gated, verified. Its old pricing address now redirects to a quote form; every plan requires a custom sales quote.

What Assetora is
The accountant's half of the problem: depreciation computed to the exact cent, and book value as of any date you ask for.
Two properties worth knowing before you compare it to anything. **Straight-line depreciation accounts for every penny** — the final period absorbs the rounding remainder, so accumulated depreciation equals cost less salvage exactly. And reducing balance does not: it is asymptotic and stops at end of life with book value at or above salvage. Same asset, same salvage, same seven periods, two different endings — and nothing in the product's own screens will tell you that, which is why it is here.
Who should stay where they are
Stay with EZOfficeInventory if you need barcode workflows and work orders across teams — Assetora is the register, not the warehouse floor, even though it prints QR labels, runs a stock-take from a phone's camera in the browser, keeps who has what and reminds you of scheduled maintenance. Stay with Asset Panda if you need one account spanning multiple departments, sites or entities under enterprise role permissions. Stay with AssetTiger if you want a native iOS or Android app for scanning and check-out.
Assetora is one business per installation, **with roles, two-factor sign-in and optional single sign-on.** For a finance team that is the point; for an estate spread across several businesses it is a wall.
