Who should stay with ConsignCloud

If you need card payments at the counter, a Shopify sync or ACH payouts, stay with ConsignCloud — Consigna records sales and payouts and moves no money. The consignor portal is included in Consigna: a read-only link per consignor with a yearly PDF statement, and a note by email when an item sells or a payout is recorded.

Questions about moving off ConsignCloud.

Is the math actually right?

That's the product. Integer cents plus basis points, round-half-up, remainder to the shop, invariant-tested across odd prices and awkward splits. The offline test suite ships in the box so you can verify it yourself.

Will this run on shared hosting?

Yes. PHP 8.1+ with pdo — present on virtually all cPanel/Plesk hosts. MySQL and SQLite are both supported, and a web installer sets it up in about two minutes.

What about my existing data?

Consignors and items import from CSV, with a dry run before anything is written, and everything exports to CSV at any time, so nothing is locked in.

Does it include point-of-sale hardware?

No hardware is included, and you don't need any: any USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner works with the counter screen, and tags print on standard label sheets. Consigna does not take card payments; use your own terminal and record the tender.
