Every consignment and resale shop settles the same question every day: who gets what when this sells? Most answer it with a spreadsheet, a shoebox of intake slips, and a monthly afternoon of dread when consignors ask for their money.

Every feature

• Consignor statements as real PDFs. Each consignor's portal now serves a server-generated PDF statement per year — their items, their sales, their payouts — downloaded from the same hashed-token link they already have. No browser print dialog, no account, no write access.
• Penny-exact split math. Money is stored in integer cents and splits in integer basis points, so consignor plus shop always equals the sale price, with the rounding penny landing in exactly one pocket.
• Consignor ledger & live balances. Track contact details, default split, payout method, and a live balance of exactly what you owe each consignor.
• Item intake with expiry tracking. Auto-suggested sequential SKUs, categories, and a days-on-floor policy that flags stale stock.
• Payout guard. A payout ledger that refuses to pay a consignor more than they're owed.
• Printable statements & CSV exports. Generate a printable per-consignor statement for any date range plus spreadsheet-safe CSV exports of items, sales, and payouts.
• Dashboard. See active items, sales this month, total owed, top consignors, and items past expiry at a glance.
• Installable mobile app (PWA). Add it to a phone or tablet home screen straight from the browser — a full-screen app served from your own server, with no app store involved. Business data is not stored offline on the device; what you see is read live.
• Pay everyone in one pass. The payout run settles every consignor you owe in a single pass, each capped at exactly what they are owed, and every payout lands on their statement.
• A counter for the shop floor. Scan the tags into a basket and ring it up as one sale with one receipt: cash with change, or card on your own terminal. Every item is still split to its own consignor, to the penny.
• Price tags with barcodes. Print tags for everything not yet tagged, on A4 or US Letter label sheets or a label printer; any USB or Bluetooth scanner reads them into the counter.
• Sales tax, kept out of the split. One rate, added or included; the consignor's share is always worked out on the price without tax.
• Consignors hear from you without you writing. A reminder to collect items before they expire, and a weekly note of what sold, from your own mail server; each consignor can opt out.
• Pay everyone with one upload. A bank file of the day's payouts for your own bank: US ACH, SEPA or a bulk-payment CSV. Consigna still moves no money; your bank does, when you approve it.
• Drop-offs by appointment. Consignors book a time on your own booking page; you see who is coming each day, and a slot never takes more people than you allow.
• Take items in from a photo. A photo fills in a draft title, category and notes through your own AI provider (OpenAI or Anthropic with your own key, or a model on your own machine); you check it and set the price.
• Who sold what, and when. Reports now show the average sale (a counter basket counts as one), each staff member's sales and takings, and your busiest hours of the day.
• Updates from inside the app. The Updates page installs a new release with your license key: Ownware's signature is checked, a backup is taken first, and the app puts the previous version back by itself if the update is interrupted or the database step or start-up check of the new version fails. It never checks by itself.
• Backups by themselves. Automatic backups, an optional copy to S3-compatible storage you own, and a weekly check that the latest backup reads back. The Health page names anything that needs attention.
• Own It 4.0.1 — fixes and an up-to-date manual. For Consigna, 4.0.1 fixes an installer that had lost its styling, a rollback that a page opened during an update could stop and a command-line update that ended in an error after putting the previous version back. Its manual, FAQ and QUICKSTART now cover everything 4.0 added, including two Nginx rules that keep the data folder private. • Own It 4.0.2 — the installer opens on every host. For Consigna, 4.0.2 fixes a fresh install on an Apache host: the one-page setup at /install/ looped back to itself and never opened, and now it opens. Release notes in full

• Own It 4.1: client installations and your other tools. For Consigna, 4.1 makes two changes that every app gets. An Extended license bought from October 4, 2026 covers up to ten client installations, one per client project: hand each one over to the client or host it for them, with the client's logo and colors from the app's branding settings. The API reference now shows how to connect Consigna to Zapier, Make or n8n, using its own webhooks and API key. • Own It 4.0: it updates and backs itself up. For Consigna, 4.0 means updates from inside the app: the Updates page checks for a new release with your license key, verifies Ownware's signature, takes a backup and puts the previous version back by itself if the update is interrupted or the database step or start-up check of the new version fails. A new install can start with a sample business and remove it in one click; backups run by themselves, with an optional offsite copy and a weekly check that the latest one reads back; and the Health page says whether the install is looking after itself.
• Own It 3.3: who sold what, and when. 3.3 adds the figures shop owners ask for: Reports now show the average sale (a counter basket counts as one), each staff member's sales and takings, and your busiest hours of the day.
• Own It 3.2: a counter on the shop floor. 3.2 put Consigna on the shop floor: scan the barcode price tags into a basket and ring it up as one sale, with every item still split to its own consignor to the penny and sales tax kept out of the split. Behind the counter it brought collect-by reminders and weekly sold notes to consignors, one bank file that pays everyone, drop-offs by appointment and item entry from a photo, plus Reports and price changes in bulk.
• Own It 3.1: it writes to the people you serve. The 3.1 wave gave the catalog a way to reach the other side of the transaction: counterparty email through your own SMTP server, calendar feeds your own calendar subscribes to, attachments filed where the paperwork belongs, and export presets other people's software imports. Each outbound feature ships switched off and runs on your own credentials; a failed send is recorded, and the action that triggered it stands. What this app gained is listed at the top of this section.
• Own It 3.0: works for your AI, not just for you. Consignors get a personal read-only portal link — what sold, what they earned, what they are owed — stored hashed, shown once, revocable any time, with no write route behind it. The settlement PDF prints every sale with its split, every payout and the balance from the same engine the screens use.
• Own It 2.0: API, 2FA, backups, dark mode. Consigna 2.0 adds the 2.0 owner layer. Upgrade by replacing the files — the database migrates itself, and it is still the same one-time purchase.
