How their pricing grows. Nanonets meters by RUN rather than by seat: a document costs whatever its blocks cost, so the bill follows volume instead of headcount.

Who should stay with Nanonets. Stay with Nanonets if you want the model, the infrastructure and the accuracy tuning delivered as a service, with support to call when a layout changes. Extracta is the opposite trade: one payment, your own API key, your own server, and a human review step before anything is accepted — no per-page meter, and no documents leaving the building except to the model you chose.
How we counted. The $100 is the vendor's own monthly subscription line, not a volume estimate of ours — the actual bill depends on how many blocks each document runs, which is why the per-run prices are quoted in full rather than averaged into a single number. Extracta is $89 once and calls the model YOU configure with YOUR key, so the per-page cost is whatever your provider charges and nothing is metered by us.

How their pricing grows. Veryfi bills per API document-extraction transaction, so processing more documents each month increases the bill.

Who should stay with Veryfi (OCR API). If you need a dedicated OCR engine, stay with Veryfi — Extracta has no OCR built in (it relies entirely on the LLM's vision capability) and is single-tenant: one business per installation, with teammates added as viewer, member or admin on the Team page.
How we counted. Metered per-document on top of a $500/mo floor; the free tier stops at 100 documents a month.

How their pricing grows. Mindee prices its plans by a monthly credit allotment sized to throughput, so a business picks (and pays for) a higher credit tier as its document volume grows.

How we counted. Stored at the dollar Starter price on annual billing ($53). Re-read 2026-09-26 with a US and a European time zone: Mindee sets the currency by time zone. The 44/529 (Pro 116/1,393) recorded on 2026-09-03 match exactly what a European browser is shown today in euros (44 €/month, 529 €/year; Pro 116 €, 1 393 €; monthly 49 € and 129 €); in dollars the card reads $53/$636 and $134/$1,608. 1 page processed = 1 credit.
