Questions about moving off Whip Around.

Does it read a tracker or an OBD dongle?

No. Fleetora reads no telematics device and has no GPS: readings arrive as your tracker's CSV export or through the API. It is a register: it knows what you have told it, and nothing else.

How does it decide whether a service is due by date or by mileage?

It compares each leg against its own warning window, in its own units. It never converts miles into days, because that needs an assumed usage rate. When both legs are inside their windows it says both, rather than ranking two quantities that are not comparable.

What happens to a mileage-based service with no odometer reading?

It reads unknown, sorted after everything actionable but before everything healthy, and it is excluded from the calendar feed. A wrong date in a calendar is worse than a missing entry, because the wrong date gets trusted.

Does it cover my country inspection regime?

It ships a neutral starter set of document types and a screen where you name your own. It is not legal or compliance advice, and the intervals you set are yours to decide with whoever advises you.
