Honest limitations
- No direct ERP/accounting integration (CSV/JSON export, then manual import)
- Single-tenant: one admin account per installation
- No OCR built in — relies entirely on the LLM's vision capability
- Scanned PDFs (images embedded in PDF) may have lower accuracy than native text-layer PDFs
- Reconciliation matches by SKU; line items without a SKU are excluded from matching
- Extraction accuracy is not guaranteed for any specific format, language, or jurisdiction

Frequently asked questions
Do I need my own API key?
Yes — Cargora requires an API key from OpenAI, Anthropic, or a local Ollama instance. Your key is stored in your own database and transmitted only in the outbound request you trigger; it's never logged, echoed, or passed through any Cargora infrastructure.
Will it run on shared hosting?
Yes. Cargora requires PHP 8+ with pdo, curl, and fileinfo — extensions present on virtually all cPanel/Plesk hosts. MySQL and SQLite are both supported, and installation takes about two minutes through the web installer.
Does it integrate directly with my ERP?
No — Cargora exports clean CSV or JSON, which you import into your ERP or accounting software. It does not offer a live, direct API integration.
Is extraction fully automated with no review?
No — Cargora is designed for human-in-the-loop review. You correct any field on screen before it enters your records or a reconciliation.
What about PDFs?
Image formats (PNG, JPEG, WebP) work reliably with all three providers. PDFs are supported natively by Anthropic; OpenAI and Ollama treat PDFs as best-effort, so for best PDF results use Anthropic or convert to PNG first.
