Cargora
Extract POs and packing slips with your own AI key, then catch short shipments and price gaps automatically.
The problem it solves
Every warehouse and wholesale buyer receives purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery notes as PDFs and phone photos. Someone retypes the reference number, supplier, and every line item into a spreadsheet or ERP.
Then, when goods arrive, someone manually checks the packing slip against the original PO to catch short shipments, missing items, and price changes. It's slow, and mistakes cost money.
- Black-box SaaS extraction services solve the typing, but they own your documents
- They charge per-page subscriptions
- They rarely do the reconciliation step at all
What you get
PO / slip extraction
Extract the header and full line-item table (SKU, quantity, unit price, line total) from purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery notes.
PO to slip reconciliation
Get a side-by-side discrepancy report showing quantity deltas, price mismatches, and SKUs missing or added versus the PO.
Arithmetic cross-check
Every line where quantity times unit price doesn't match the printed line total is automatically flagged.
Bring your own LLM key
Choose OpenAI, Anthropic, or local Ollama and switch providers any time in Settings.
CSV / JSON export
Export documents and reconciliation reports to CSV or JSON for your spreadsheet or ERP.
Self-hosted, one-time purchase
Runs on PHP 8+ with MySQL or SQLite on standard shared hosting, with no subscription or per-page charges beyond your own LLM cost.
Installable mobile app (PWA)
Add it to a phone or tablet home screen straight from the browser — a full-screen app served from your own server, with no app store involved. Business data is never cached offline, so what you see is always live.
Own It 2.0 — API, 2FA, backups, dark mode
Cargora 2.0 adds the 2.0 owner layer. Upgrade by replacing the files — the database migrates itself, and it is still the same one-time purchase.
- REST API with an OpenAPI spec and signed webhooks
- Two-factor sign-in (TOTP)
- Email notifications through your own SMTP
- CSV import with a mandatory dry run
- One-click backups
- Dark mode
Own It 3.0 — works for your AI, not just for you
PO completeness is the three-way view a receiving desk actually needs: per line, ordered versus received so far versus remaining, cumulative across every matched slip — while price gaps stay pinned to the delivery that charged them, because that is the one you dispute. MCP puts the same reconciliations in reach of your AI under the same guards.
- Roles with email invitations and a last-admin guard
- Append-only audit trail across browser, API and agent
- Printable PDFs
- Your logo and colours throughout
- Scheduled backups with a guided dry-run restore
- Optional single sign-on (OIDC)

Honest limitations
- No direct ERP/accounting integration (CSV/JSON export, then manual import)
- Single-tenant: one admin account per installation
- No OCR built in — relies entirely on the LLM's vision capability
- Scanned PDFs (images embedded in PDF) may have lower accuracy than native text-layer PDFs
- Reconciliation matches by SKU; line items without a SKU are excluded from matching
- Extraction accuracy is not guaranteed for any specific format, language, or jurisdiction
Two-minute web installer; PHP 8+ with MySQL or SQLite, standard shared-hosting compatible.
Covered in these guides
Most document-extraction tools read one document. The job that costs money is comparing two — what you ordered against what turned up. Here is what that check is worth, and what the tools cost.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need my own API key?
Yes — Cargora requires an API key from OpenAI, Anthropic, or a local Ollama instance. Your key is stored in your own database and transmitted only in the outbound request you trigger; it's never logged, echoed, or passed through any Cargora infrastructure.
Will it run on shared hosting?
Yes. Cargora requires PHP 8+ with pdo, curl, and fileinfo — extensions present on virtually all cPanel/Plesk hosts. MySQL and SQLite are both supported, and installation takes about two minutes through the web installer.
Does it integrate directly with my ERP?
No — Cargora exports clean CSV or JSON, which you import into your ERP or accounting software. It does not offer a live, direct API integration.
Is extraction fully automated with no review?
No — Cargora is designed for human-in-the-loop review. You correct any field on screen before it enters your records or a reconciliation.
What about PDFs?
Image formats (PNG, JPEG, WebP) work reliably with all three providers. PDFs are supported natively by Anthropic; OpenAI and Ollama treat PDFs as best-effort, so for best PDF results use Anthropic or convert to PNG first.
